Metallica’s debut single (and the only one from Kill ‘Em All)
Released 20 January 1984 in Europe.

Later released in North America with an additional track and different front cover artwork as “Whiplash”

The two songs on side B are not actually live. They were recorded at The Automatt in October 1983 and mixed with audience recordings.

The “demon” image on the cover is taken from the The Devils of D-Day by Graham Masterton (horror paperback 1978).
